Via his beloved disciple, John, Jesus sent 7 letters to 7 churches in Asia Minor; they make up the first three chapters of the book of Revelation. These messages for Christians facing a volatile time in history are exceedingly relevant for Christians today. Dr. Joel and Jeannalee Biermann will be hosting the group in their home in Affton. 

 

The Greatest Storyteller: Studying the Parables of Jesus

Mondays at 7pm beginning on August 28

Faulstich residence

As a great companion to our Story Sermon Series, we will delve into

discussions with the greatest storyteller of all time, Jesus Christ. Jesus's

parables are more than mere stories. Jesus, in telling his parables, laid out profound spiritual lessons through ingenious word pictures, giving believers glimpses of God's Kingdom.  Join us on Monday evenings at 7 PM to learn though the stories told by Jesus himself. Questions? Contact Marlon

This small group will study hospitality from a Biblical perspective instead of an “entertaining” perspective (think beyond Instagrammable decor and food). We will examine Biblical hospitality as a way in which God works through our lives, even if they are currently messy and imperfect, to bring life to others and honor the Lord. Questions? The 10 Questions to Ask When Reading the Bible

The Tuesday morning breakfast group meets at 7:00 at Cracker Barrel at Hwy 55 and Meramec Bottom road.  We order breakfast and after eating we discuss the current book we are studying.  We usually wrap up around 8:00.

We will go through the book "The 10 Questions to Ask When Reading the Bible"  This was recommended by Pastor Nick.  The goal is to connect more personally to the Bible and Engage with God's word. Questions? Contact Ken Stuckmeyer

 

The Prayer Potluck 

Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 beginning September 6

Resurrection’s Coffee Lounge

Join us each week as we share in a potluck of both food and prayer. Members of the group will bring an appetizer or treat to share as we spend time in fellowship, followed by offering up prayers for selected families in our congregation (chosen at random). We will end the evening by signing cards to send to the families, letting them know we are thinking of them and praying for them throughout the week. Questions? Contact Hannah Brenner

Thursday Movie Night - The Chosen: Season 1

The Chosen is an amazing, biblically centered, drama series that tracks the life of Jesus through the gospels. The opportunity to watch the life of Jesus in a fresh way as seen through the eyes of those who knew Him, in conjunction with reading the gospels and interacting with others about it, will undoubtedly be one of the most fruitful moments you'll have.
