Community Garden:

Spring has sprung! We are excited to start a community garden here on LCR’s campus. We’ll spend time planting and praying in God’s beautiful creation. No prior experience required!

Cultivating the Faith of Students:

A Small Group for high schoolers! Looking for ways to apply your faith in your every day life? This book is just for you. “An 8-week journey to discover faith-filled practices to grow as Christ-like servant leaders.” We will pray together, and discuss real life, important topics. 

Sundays at 6:00p in the Coffee Lounge

 

Lunchtime Card Club:

Euchre, pinochle, canasta, bridge, and beyond! Pack a sack lunch and join us for prayer, devotions, and friendly competition.

Mondays at 12:00p in the Coffee Lounge

 

Immerse “Messiah”:

This Small Group will read HALF of the New Testament in eight weeks. It’s NOT too hard… but it is a commitment, and one that will build the kind of spiritual momentum you have been hoping for. Build your understanding, be in conversation, ask any question. I hope EVERYONE at LCR can enjoy the “Messiah” group at least once!

Bible Themes:

New Bible study group with (retired) Pastor David Bretscher! Bible/faith questions? Short books of the Bible or short topical issues you've always wanted to learn about? Come join us to help decide what direction we go, but confident that we will open the Bible and hear, see, and grow in JESUS CHRIST the LORD!

Crafting Chrismons:

Chrismons are the beautiful ornaments used to decorate the Christmas trees in our worship spaces each year, and we are in need of new ones! Interested in learning more about these signs and symbols while crafting new Chrismons for LCR? Sign up for this group!

The Book of Acts:

The season of Easter is a great time to study the Acts of the Apostles! We’ll hear readings from Acts in worship often during this season, and our NT in a year reading plan will be in Acts at this time, so let’s take some time to dive into this book! Join Pastor David in walking through the book of Acts.

Just Good Clean Fun:

A group of LCR members 50+ looking to get together to play basketball, volleyball, badminton, ping pong, corn hole, pickle ball, golf, or go bowling—any and all of these are options, the group will decide! Beginners welcome, we are willing to help you learn!

Thursdays at 4:00p at various locations, but first meeting in LCR’s gym (4/18)

 

Love Rules:  

Now that we know the joy of Easter, we can see the Ten Commandments through a different and more beautiful lens! Women of LCR will gather to discuss the book Love Rules from CPH, learning more about how the Ten Commandments act as God’s loving intentions for our lives.

Prophecy Bingo:
Many who call themselves prophets in this day use a certain number of buzz words in their “prophetic" sayings. Pastor Chris Rosebrough and his crew have come up with a game to see how many of these buzz words are laced into these sayings. Pastor Rosebrough then compares what has been stated to Biblical truths, and corrects these dangerous teachings. Join Marlon Williams to watch and discuss Prophecy Bingo.
