Since 2017, Resurrection has partnered with the Belize Mission Society, an officially recognized service organization of LCMS. The Belize Mission Society (www.belizemissionsociety.net) has been providing mercy care in the Seine Bight and Georgetown communities since 2003.  What began as a vacation bible school has grown to include a hot lunch program currently serving more than 75 grade school children in need, and over 50 scholarships for high school youth. The Society also hosts approximately 12 short-term teams annually, offering services such as construction support, healthcare, dental care, teaching, VBS, Bible studies, and various other forms of community assistance.

In partnership with LCMS, the first LCMS Lutheran church has been planted in Seine Bight. Additionally, with support from an LWML grant, the Mission Society constructed Mercy House which includes a kitchen for the hot lunch program as well as medical and dental exam rooms.
